1. The Government responded to a report written on the Operational Safety of Sizewell B nuclear power station.

3. The Government has updated its guidance on regulatory controls for radiation protection in the UK. 

The Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 mean employers must now apply to the Health and Safety Executive for certain work done with ionising radiation.

Sellafield signed a 17 year agreement which will introduce changes to its work with the National Nuclear Laboratory.
