The UK’s excellent telecoms infrastructure and highly skilled workforce attracts many European outsourcing firms to locate their headquarters and contact centres in the UK. Despite recent political uncertainty, the sector has reported record high performance. On the agenda for the sector is exploiting new opportunities for outsourcing as pressures rise for businesses to cut costs. The sector must also take advantage of emerging markets abroad, particularly the Middle East.
