Stephen Crisp
Head, Brevia Technology
Stephen leads on Technology for Brevia
He is an international government affairs specialist that has focused on technology policy issues throughout his career.
Prior to joining Brevia, he was Senior Policy Director at DIGITALEUROPE in Brussels. In this role, he led on AI, Data, Platforms, Media, Sustainability and Mobility. Before this, Stephen was FIPRA’s Head of Digital and Technology Practice in Brussels.
He has also served as: Head of Government Affairs Europe and APAC for DiDi; Director International Government Relations at Pearson; Vice President, Public Affairs for Asia, Middle East and Africa for BT; BT’s Director of European Affairs; Director Global Government Affairs for Jaguar Land Rover; and, Global Head of Policy and Government Relations at Nokia Networks. Stephen was a Ministerial Adviser at DEFRA from 2003-2005
Stephen has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Washington DC, London, and Brussels leading global and regional Government Affairs teams. Stephen also established BT’s first commercial lobbying operation.
After graduation, he started his working life in the House of Commons and House of Lords as a researcher to backbench MPs and Peers. He has a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Ulster and MSc from University College London.
Stephen is a life long Crystal Palace supporter and has written for and edited two books and a magazine about supporting them.
