Energy: Public Affairs & Public Relations Support

Brevia Energy is the UK’s leading public affairs and PR consultancy supporting the UK energy sector. Since 1999, we have provided expert public affairs and communications advice to energy companies of all sizes, from innovative start-ups to FTSE 100 corporations.

Our expert team spans the entire energy sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, supply, and flexibility services. With a global network of partners, we offer a truly international perspective on energy policy developments, with specialist experience in cross-border energy projects. Our expertise is demonstrated by our long-track record of delivering successful outcomes for our clients, including Development Consent Orders (DCOs) for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).

Recent months have seen the publication of key government strategies, including the Planning and Infrastructure Bill, the Infrastructure Strategy, and the Modern Industrial Strategy. Crucially, the Government has also published its long-awaited decision on the Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA), opting against zonal pricing and committing instead to a reformed national pricing model, to be delivered through a new National Pricing Delivery Plan.

There are also signs of greater clarity emerging around the Government’s approach to the energy transition, with a focus on strengthening domestic supply chains, promoting homegrown energy generation, and ensuring value for money for consumers as the cost of net zero comes increasingly under scrutiny.

Brevia’s energy division offers a comprehensive range of services, including parliamentary monitoring, strategic advice, crisis communications, select committee training, and stakeholder engagement programmes. We help our clients navigate these developments and achieve their strategic objectives.
